- Approval of 4/04/07 Minutes.
- Open Items
- There are a lot of dog feces
on the shore of Silver Lake.
- Erin spoke with the President of
the Silver Lake HOA and requested that they make sure condo residents are
cleaning up after their dogs.
- All residents should be
cleaning up after their dogs.
- Silver Lake
Commercial
- Commercial was filmed on Silver Lake, $1,000 was paid to the Water
Board.
- Water Board has donated the
$1,000 to the POA with the request that the money be used for Port-O-Lets
at both Lakes this season.
- Erin will arrange for Port-O-Let
placement.
- Eclipse Snow Park
- USFS land swap process will
take a minimum of 3 years to complete.
- Covenant Enforcement
St. Mary’s Unit 4
- POA has received many
complaints about the condition of and abundance of debris around many of
the trailers.
- POA will be meeting with Fred
Huff (POA Attorney) in June to discuss covenant enforcement process.
- Fishing Badges have been printed and Jan and Rob have
begun issuing them to paid POA members.
- Schoolhouse Propane
- Ferrell Gas filled the
propane tank at the schoolhouse when Jan told them not to as we are
switching providers.
- Ferrell Gas will credit our
account for removing the remaining propane out of the tank.

- There have been a multitude
of reports about dogs at large in the St.
Mary’s area.
- Dog at Large is defined as a
dog that is off of your property and unattended and/or out of the owners
control.
- If a dog at large causes a
traffic accident, the dog owner could be held liable for damages.
- Laws are designed for safety
of dog owners, dogs and other people.
- Process should be followed
when reporting a dog at large:
i.
Write
a statement with all pertinent information. Owner’s name & address (not always
possible for dogs running loose in the community). Please include a description
of the dog (take a picture if possible). Time/Date when the incident occurred.
ii.
Your
contact information (name, phone number, address) so Animal Control can contact
you for further details of the incident.
iii.
Reporting
parties can remain anonymous; however the process may take longer. If you want to remain anonymous, you MUST let
Animal Control know at the time of making the report. If the matter does go to trial, public court
records will list your name. Animal
Control does NOT divulge this information to offending parties during the
resolution process.

- Incessant barking complaints
must have written complaints from two people residing in two separate
residences. A warning will be
given to dog owner and if the issue is not resolved in 10 days, a summons
will be issued.
- Currently, there are no
banned breeds in Clear
Creek County. There is no limit on the number of cats
and dogs a person may own.
- Closest vet is Dr. Norton in
Idaho Springs. There is an animal
hospital in Evergreen.
- Please prepare your animals for
emergency situations such as wildfire
i.
Have
a kit with food/water and ID for the animal.
ii.
Microchips
are $10 at Clear Creek Animal Shelter.
- Guest Speaker – John Chapman
- Scott Rightsell will lead the
subcommittee for the CWPP
- Our plan will assist the County
in creating the county wide CWPP.
- State and USFS members can
attend subcommittee meetings to offer advice and assistance.
- Without a CWPP our community
is not eligible to receive grant money.
