Discussion on the lease situation with the Metro Board. Apparently we have kept up the lease on the schoolhouse since 1979, being responsible for the upkeep of the building. This expense is the major expense of the POA. There are some ambiguities about the lease and John Pacetta volunteered to look at the original agreement and report back about legalities.
This winter the schoolhouse sustained some major water damage and discussion is on the table about who is responsible for the clean-up. Someone didnÕt secure the back door and it blew open, subsequently the full propane tank ran out and the pipes froze. Massive water damage of bead board on back wall.

Discussion about previous consultation with attorney, Fred Huff concerning cleanup in Unit 4. Are the residents in Unit 4 responsible for cleaning the trailer area? John Pacetta will contact Fred Huff in regards to sending letters to residents in Unit 4.

We are in need of new blood and involvement in the community and the POA. Michele Beverly was voted onto the POA board. She has committed to help with new issues and concerns to help make a more effective board. ANYONE who is willing to contribute time and energy to the community is encouraged t attend POA meeting. Regular scheduled meetings are the first Tuesday of each month at 6pm at the schoolhouse. We will be having an additional meeting this month to discuss issues prior to the annual meeting. The meeting will be held June 30, 2009 6PM at the schoolhouse.
