Visitors to St. Mary's Glacier

The Alice, St. Mary's and Winterland communities are all private subdivisions with covenant controls as to parking and traffic restrictions.

The only parking for the glacier hike is a small lot, directly north of the glacier trailhead. There is NO parking allowed on Fall River Road or within the subdivisions.

You may not unload ATV's or other motorized vehicles anywhere in the St. Mary's community.

There are NO sanitary or trash facilities anywhere on the glacier hike, the glacier, or the parking area. All trash and waste must be packed out with you!

The lakes in the St. Mary's community are private. Illegal fishing is considered poaching and will be prosecuted as the lakes are patrolled regularly.
